This petite young female is in need of a loving home! Her coloring is unique: a tiger body with splashes of orange, a white chest, and a beautiful calico face. She is a very affectionate, sweet cat who is obviously used to people; however, she was abandoned near a feral colony so we didn’t realize her personality until we took her to the vet to be spayed and vaccinated. She is an absolute love, so if you are interested in adopting Autumn, please contact Compassion for Cats at 203-929-7909.

As a small kitten Lucky was found hiding near an industrial heating unit outside a busy restaurant. The unit was mounted on a cement pad, surrounded by a deep ditch which was slowly filling with water. He had fallen into the ditch and was unable to get out on his own! Luckily a patron heard his pitiful cries and contacted us. We were able to rescue him and, after a vet exam, he was brought to a foster home.  He was young enough that he was socialized quickly and was soon adopted …he is now happily living in his “forever home”!

Noelle

Noelle is a very sweet tortie who was in an extremely neglectful situation. She was found living in a small wire cage with no food or water – only a filthy litter box. After being tested, spayed and vaccinated, we began the task of slowly socializing her. She was scared of everything and acted like she had not had much human contact at all. Thanks to a devoted foster parent giving her a lot of time and love, Noelle learned to trust! She eventually began to seek human contact and loved to just sit and be held constantly. Luckily, Noelle was adopted to a loving family.  She now spends her days on her window seat watching the birds and squirrels outside…unless she is cuddled in someone’s lap, purring contentedly!

This sweet kitten had a tough beginning in life, as he was found dragging his traumatized front leg in reverse position. Due to extensive nerve damage, his leg was amputated.

However, Magic didn’t mind that he was missing a leg – nor that he was FIV positive!  He just showed that he loved life and wound up as a “lucky black cat” adopted to a very special, caring home.  Magic now enjoys racing around the house during the day and cuddling up next to his loving owner at night.
